2022 ICFP Call for Abstract Reviewers

Jan 7, 2022

Dear colleagues,

Greetings from the Gates Institute. We hope that all are safe and healthy and appreciate the time you are taking to review this email during these extraordinary times.

As you may know, the 2022 International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP) is planned for November 14-17, 2022 in Pattaya City, Thailand. ICFP is the largest scientific conference on family planning and reproductive health in the world, held every other year for researchers, advocates, program implementers, policymakers, faith leaders, and youth to disseminate knowledge, celebrate successes toward our collective goals, and chart our collective course forward. The scientific subcommittee is looking for potential reviewers for abstracts.

The call for abstracts has been launched and can be found here, with the abstract submission portal opening on February 1, 2022. As in the past, 2022 ICFP abstracts will be accepted for both individual papers and preformed panel sessions. Submission will close on March 15, 2022, and acceptance notifications will be sent by June 1, 2022. Review services will thus be needed during the six weeks between March 22 – May 3, 2022.

If you are interested in serving as a reviewer, please complete the survey at the links below  and let us know the type, track(s), and topic(s) for which you would like to review abstracts.

We greatly appreciate your willingness to serve the international family planning community as a reviewer for the 2022 ICFP. Creating an exceptional program that only presents information of the highest quality cannot be achieved without your help. Please also feel free to share this survey link with others whom you feel would be able to successfully contribute their expertise as reviewers.

We recognize that this is a major professional service and look forward to recognizing your incredibly important efforts in multiple ways leading up to and through the conference and via a recognition letter/certificate. Please reach out to us with any questions at abstracts@theicfp.org.

Please complete the 2022 ICFP Abstract Reviewer Sign-up Survey by January 31, 2022.  We look forward to working with you.
