LET THEM KNOW:
A Youth-Led AYSRHR Global Roadmap for Action
Created by a group of youth-led organizations, the new AYSRHR Global Roadmap for Action is dedicated to achieving the full realization of SRHRJ for all young people, everywhere.
IYAFP and the 120 Under 40: The New Generation of Family Planning Leaders program, with the support of the Bill and Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health and Bayer AG, have assembled a group of youth-led organizations to spearhead the creation of the AYSRHR Global Roadmap for Action dedicated to achieving the full realization of SRHRJ for all young people, everywhere.
This roadmap of action, which will be presented to the global community at the International Conference for Family Planning (ICFP) 2022 in Pattaya City Thailand, is being designed and led by youth in collaboration with over 40 youth-led organizations at the helm.
The Youth-Led AYSRHR Global Roadmap for Action will bring these youth voices together to outline a new vision for AYSRH and set out 2030 goals, priorities, and recommended policy actions, showing unity in the expression of young peoples’ SRHR needs and values across the world.
Each goal will express the priorities raised by young people at the 2020 benchmark, with recommended policy actions providing a roadmap for achieving universal access to youth-friendly family planning and SRH in relation to SDG 3.7:
“By 2030, ensure universal access to sexual and reproductive health-care services, including for family planning, information and education, and the integration of reproductive health into national strategies and programmes”

Global Roadmap for Action
The achievement of Sexual and Reproductive Health, Rights, and Justice (SRHRJ) for all young people requires the leadership and expertise of youth at the center of policies, programs and interventions at the local, national, and international levels.
Even though there are different youth-led initiatives, organizations, collectives, and networks that operate at different levels, these initiatives lack a dedicated space for sharing information, collaborating, strategizing and working together to advance common goals.
