Allen Kabagenyi

Allen is a Demographer with a Ph.D in Population Studies based at the Department of Population Studies, Makerere University.  She is a lecturer, researcher and survey sampling statistician with over 10 years working experience in the field of Demography, Advocacy, Population and Reproductive health. Allen has authored a number of journal articles, books chapters and technical reports in maternal health focusing on family planning, HIV/AIDS, fertility and related reproductive health issues.  She is a member of national and international steering and Technical committees on Demographic Dividend, Maternal and child Health. Allen was the 2019 winner top of 40 under 40 for exceptional and professional work in Demography in Uganda and 2017 award winner of the 120 Under 40: The New Generation of Family Planning Leaders by Gates Institute, JHU, USA.
