Proscovia Katrina Oroma

Proscovia Katrina Oroma leaves in Agago district, northern Uganda. She is 19 years old and is a mother of two. Both pregnancies were unwanted, and one was due to rape unfortunately. She joined the Anyaka Makwiri FHI 360/Youth Power Action(YPA) led activity on Adolescent Girls and Young Women mentorship in 2017 which she feels transformed her life in terms of general health knowledge including on Family Planning, FP/HIV aids issues, STDs, self-determination, and self-confidence, among others. She has since become a mentor to other girls in her community and currently leads platform for girls initiated to the dreams program.
