William Otuck

William Otuck is a Tanzanian Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights advocate and expert with a particular interest and focus on youth leadership and gender. With an academic background in clinical medicine, William has spent the past eight years working with young people on sexual and reproductive health issues through community awareness programs, capacity building, policy advocacy (at the local, national, and international level), and research. His career journey has led him to co-found and work for various youth-led organizations that aim at amplifying young people’s voices into decision-making platforms while nurturing a workforce of future advocates and change-makers. William is currently a managing director for the Young And Alive Initiative (YAAI), a youth-led organization based in Tanzania working to advance sexual reproductive health and rights through a gender lens and youth leadership.
