Beth Schlachter is the Executive Director of Family Planning 2030 (FP2030), a global community of partners working together to ensure women and girls can decide, freely and for themselves, if, when, and how often they have children. Beth provides strategic leadership of FP2020, which brings together partner countries, donor governments, civil society organizations, multilateral institutions, foundations, and private sector partners to advance rights-based family planning.
Prior to FP2030, Beth was a career foreign service officer for the U.S. Department of State, serving in positions including Senior Population Policy Advisor overseeing U.S. priorities in multilateral organizations and negotiations related to sexual and reproductive health and rights.
