Carolina is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her research centers on the use of economics to solve public health problems. Her areas of interest are family planning, fertility, and demographic transitions. She is particularly interested in the links of how women’s sexual and reproductive health influences their roles in society.
