Country Coordinator, IYAFP-DRC
A flexible, Ambitious and highly motivated person, Divin is an African leader who processes a wide range of experience in Sexual and reproductive health, family planning and the economic recovery and development approaches.
He holds a degree in Economic Sciences.
During the last 7 years he worked for different non-profit organizations at the national and international level, this has given him skills in project planning, implementation and the monitoring and evaluation of field activities.
He worked for Concern Worldwide an Irish international organization as a project officer in charge VSLA and IGA where he trained between 2019 and 2021 one thousand people on issues related to gender equality, Vsla and income generating activities.
He is the coordinator of the International Youth Alliance for Family Planning (IYAFP) in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. IYAFP aims to promote sexual right and to encourage the use of modern contraceptive methods among youth and adolescents. He has been able to organize two big awareness campaign in the Amani festival in February 2020. With friends, he has been able to sensitize more than 4000 young people.
He also works as a Project Officer in charge of economic recovery and development in the Child and Youth Education response Activities, a USAID project within the international rescue committee-DRC.
He believes in the power of network and that why he wants to work closely with those other young change makers.
