Elizabeth Leahy Madsen is an associate vice president at PRB, where she directs the USAID-funded PACE (Policy, Advocacy, and Communication Enhanced for Population and Reproductive Health) project. From 2016-2019, she directed PRB’s Empowering Evidence-Driven Advocacy Project. Madsen has 18 years of research and program implementation experience and has led partnerships in more than 10 countries. Her areas of expertise include family planning policy and advocacy, political demography, meaningful youth engagement, and the intersections between population and multisectoral development. She is the author of more than 50 technical reports, journal articles, and book chapters.
