Kellie Welborn joined the Gates Institute in February of 2017. She honed her event planning, marketing and media production skills at two of the world’s top media brands, Walt Disney/ABC and Discovery Communications (Discovery Health Channel, Planet Green and Animal Planet), prior to garnering a MAS in New Media and teaching a variety of media production classes at Indiana University. As a Senior Program Officer and Director of the Secretariat for the International Conference on Family Planning, she is putting these skills to work Gates Institute for the ICFP and several key initiatives, including 120 Under 40: The New Generation of Family Planning Leaders.
