Yousuf Alrawi

Sexual & Reproductive Health Program Analyst, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)

Yousuf is a Medical Doctor with a Master of Public Health (MPH) – Management, Planning and Policy from the University of Leeds, UK.
He is currently working as Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Program Analyst with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Eritrea where he leads the planning and implementation of the SRH component of the program and provides technical support to the Ministry of Health on family planning programming, safe motherhood and health planning and policy.

Yousuf has also worked at the World Health Organization Regional Office in Cairo with the Reproductive and Maternal Health Unit working on SRH policies and plans. Yousuf has working experience in emergency settings on gender-based violence and reproductive health during ISIS humanitarian crisis in Iraq.

Yousuf has graduated from different fellowships including Diploma in Public Policy and Leadership from the American University of Sharjah, Diploma in Organizational Leadership and Management from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and Diploma in Social Media from Virginia Commonwealth University.
