Sheeja works as the Head HR for Amalgamated Plantations Private Limited ( A TATA Enterprise), the 2nd largest Tea Producer in India, with 31000 employees. She is an IIM (Ahmedabad) alumni and a lawyer by profession. She is an Ex Naval Officer having worked in the Indian Navy for 13 years in their Judge Advocate General Branch.
After leaving the Navy, she has joined RP Goenka group in their retail sector as Head HR for their South Zone for 2 years and then moved to their Plantation Company, Harrisons Malayalam Limited and was with them for more than 10 years. Sheeja is now associated with Amalgamated Plantations Private Limited as Head HR w.e.f from Oct 2020. She is the first Lady executive member of UPASI (United Planters Association of South India), a permanent member of Indian Institute of Directors and a member of CII Indian Women Network.
