The ICFP Secretariat understands some members of our community are experiencing issues garnering a visa for this year’s conference, especially for those who reside in countries where there is no Thai Embassy present.
The ICFP Secretariat remains in constant communication with the National Steering Committee and Government of Thailand to best address these issues, and our counterparts are looking into this matter on an urgent basis. We will continue to update this page as more information on the visa process is available.
The ICFP Secretariat advises all people to register for the conference before making an appointment to garner your visa. The Secretariat also advises registrants to confirm their appointment date and time with their local embassy and make sure they understand all elements of the visa application they are responsible for providing during said appointment.
The Secretariat appreciates everyone who has shared their experience with the visa process in their country with us. We are actively collecting feedback from the ICFP community and encourage anyone experiencing visa issues to let us know via this form.
The Government of Thailand is aware of the issues facing delegates and is working to address them quickly. Any information you are able to provide about your personal experience would be incredibly helpful.
Thank you for your interest in attending #ICFP2022. We look forward to seeing everyone in Pattaya City this November for the sixth International Conference on Family Planning!
