IPUMS PMA is a free tool to access and analyze the Performance Monitoring for Action data, an innovative family planning and reproductive health survey in select countries of Africa and Asia. IPUMS PMA makes these data more accessible to researchers of all skill levels through an online data dissemination system where you can create a custom data extract compatible with most major statistical packages, including Stata, SAS, SPSS, and R. We harmonize variable names and codes across place and time and provide thorough documentation at the variable level. Better access to data means fast, relevant evidence for policymakers.
