CONTRIBUTION TO FAMILY PLANNING
MSI Reproductive Choices is a global provider of contraception, safe abortion and post-abortion care, working across 37 countries in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and Latin America.
Through MSI’s centres, public health posts and mobile outreach teams, our providers see over 28,000 clients every day. Since our founding in 1976, MSI has delivered sexual and reproductive healthcare services to over 145 million women worldwide.
MSI’s vision is bold but simple: By 2030, no abortion will be unsafe and everyone who wants access to contraception will have it. We look forward to partnering with colleagues at ICFP to get there, together.
Launching MSI 2030: Your Body, Your Choice, Your Future
Every day our providers and clients witness the power of reproductive choice. From enabling girls to stay in school, to supporting women to forge their careers, the right to choose is transformational. As Damales Mukaka, a nurse from our Zambia programme, told me recently, ‘If you empower a woman or a girl, then you’ve empowered a home, you’ve empowered a country and you’ve empowered the world.’

Five Essentials to Eliminate Unsafe Abortion with Universal Health Coverage
Abortion is essential health care, and this has only been reaffirmed by COVID-19. But access to safe abortion care remains out of reach for many and today alone, an estimated 96,000 women worldwide will undergo an unsafe abortion.
MSI’s Spotlight Webinar Series on All Things SRHR
With COVID-19 impacting reproductive rights and healthcare the world over, and many events that would have brought our communities together in 2020 cancelled, it’s important we remained connected. To support this dialogue, MSI Reproductive Choices launched a new webinar series in April 2020 – The Spotlight – inviting partners from the sector and beyond to discuss key issues facing sexual and reproductive health, gender and rights. Sharing stories and evidence from service delivery, Spotlight webinars provided a space to come together to share practical, frontline solutions to increase access.
