Let's Talk About the Elephant in the Womb (Aka How Storytelling Reduces Abortion Stigma)

16 November 2022 | 16:00 (GMT+7)

This segment will spotlight the process behind its recent online pilot in Nigeria, which shared stories from 13 young social media influencers explaining why they believe women need more access to safe and legal abortion care in Nigeria.

A virtual panel featuring two of those youth leaders will discuss why they got involved, what it felt like to publicly advocate for this issue, how they used specific storytelling strategies to affect change, and why they hope this is just the beginning of more, similar work.
